Torque - Interactive Media - Conveying information with a twist

about us

TORQUE serves both private companies and public interest groups. We build interactive web media for internal training and consumer education initiatives.

Here are a few examples...

Corporations creating internal training programs

Gap Inc. trains tens of thousands of employees across more than 3,000 stores in its various retail brands – The Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Gap Outlet. Gap Inc has engaged TORQUE Interactive Media to accomplish the following goals:

  • More effectively engage younger employees from the digital generation
  • Eliminate the costs of printing, shipping, and updating (re-printing and re-shipping) training materials
  • Increase the shelf-life of their training materials
  • Standardize training for every new employee
  • Institutions running public education initiatives

The SF Bay Area Red Cross has launched a campaign to educate the public on disaster preparation. TORQUE is helping The Red Cross create interactive games to get the message out about how to build a disaster preparedness kit.

The Department of Health and Human Services has given TORQUE Interactive Media a grant to develop interactive web applications for teaching relationship communication skills as part of its Healthy Marriages Initiative. You can check out the materials created under the grant at www.poweroftwo.org, at www.RevolutionHealth.com, at www.parentingweekly.com, and on a number of other parenting, health, and marriage education websites.
